ABOUT ME
Hello again! I’m Molly and FERN is built entirely from my heart, soul and dreams. I live in Scarborough with my lovely partner James, pictured here with me when he was promoted from occasional delivery driver and bucket carrier to wearing one of my designs at a recent wedding.
Aside from of course all things floral, I’m a lover of vintage and antiques, crafting, swimming and I will never say no to a Sunday dinner! Floristry found me in 2021 when I realised it was the perfect combination of imaginative creativity, using my hands to make something beautiful and giving other people those special moments and memories.
The greatest thing about floristry is the look on people’s faces when they realise that the design in front of them, the combination of nature’s own stunning ingredients, has been created especially for them with love and care.

INSPIRATION : ETHOS : STYLE
My work celebrates what nature has already designed for us; gems of colour scattered among countless shades of green. I aim for my work to display an abundance of variety of forms, colours and textures and I pay close attention to the tiny details that contribute so much to the overall impact.
I love to use as many locally grown seasonal flowers as I can and these will always form a key part of my designs, nature permitting! FERN has a flower patch a few miles away from where I live and I hope to build this up to be able to cut from it throughout the growing season.
Working with flowers is a tactile and sensory experience and I want my clients and customers to be a part of this too. When building designs I consider not only how they look but their scent and feel; I want my designs to move, invite and intrigue.
